School Lighting Project

Bright- Dada CBO is a Non-profit company established to accelerate African women entrepreneurs’ participation in the Power and Energy sector.  BDCBO has 100 registered members who are involved in various entrepreneurial activity in and around  Kisumu county.

Over the past few years bright Dada has strengthen it social engineering  expertise of  building a credible network for behavioral change, and arm’s length support for the consumer community .

BDCBO  Core is to ensure Increased Access to lighting  and energy solutions in rural Kenyan communities, SME’S , schools and health-centers.

This is driven by three core pillars:

• Awareness and education on health, safety, environment & the economic benefits of lighting.
• Affordability and arms-length accessibility to relevant products along with effective service and support.
• Employability and income generation opportunities for women within the peri-urban areas in communities.
